The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce New York (nglccNY) invites you to our inaugural LGBTBE Roundtable, the first in a year-long, three-part mini-series of LGBTBE programming. This series of roundtables will provide an open forum to discuss the kinds of business issues that are unique to the LGBTQ community and develop certain skills such as speaking authentically and creating and maintaining your personal brand.

The first event in this series will feature Eduardo Placer, Founder and CEO of Fearless Communicators. Eduardo will lead a discussion on the power of the spoken word and crafting storytelling that propels your audience to engage with your business. 
 
The stories you craft about you and your work are necessary and imperative to making a lasting impression.  In this interactive and dynamic workshop we will look at the three “C”s of Courageous Verbal Storytelling: Commit, Craft and Connect.

Meet Eduardo Placer:
Eduardo Placer is a Keynote Speaker, Social Entrepreneur, and Global Community Builder.  He is the CEO and Founder of Fearless Communicators, a dynamic public speaking coaching business.  He is a global facilitator that has led workshops with groups at HBO, Google, Bank of America- Merrill Lynch, Yale, The Juilliard School, and the Wharton School of Business. Private clients include Industry Leaders, CEOs of startup companies, UN Diplomats and social activists.  He was a professional actor for 15 years, working all over the country in over 38 plays and musicals. This training and experience have led him to develop a physical and mental approach to Hack the Fear of Public Speaking. He has a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Acting from the University of California, San Diego
