Certified Superstar

We are very excited for our last Certified Superstar of 2018! nglccNY is thrilled that Viacom has agreed to partner with us to host its first Certified Superstar, making this a great opportunity to learn from Viacom decision makers.

The pitches will be followed by a reception for participants, panelists, and attendees.

ABOUT CERTIFIED SUPERSTAR: This program is designed as a twenty-minute mentorship program in which LGBTBEs will have the opportunity to appear before a panel of several professionals from Viacom to provide a mock pitch. LGBTBEs will give a ten-minute presentation which should focus on a service and value proposition. Following the presentation, each LGBTBE will receive ten minutes of constructive feedback on style, content, presentation skills and communication. Although this is not a bid on any specific job, LGBTBEs should treat this opportunity as if it were an actual sales pitch. The goal of the program is for LGBTBEs to walk away with helpful advice from a nglccNY Corporate Partner and to gain additional experience in pitching your businesses.
