In this session we focus on building simple, powerful habits to protect your business. We skip the jargon, avoid extra costs, and focus on immediate, actionable steps designed to stop the most common and damaging attacks for small businesses. And we will explain how to do it using the tools you probably already have. It's all about making cybersecurity radically simple and empathetic to the busy small business owner. Additionally we'll provide attendees with an understanding of NIST CSF 2.0 and its components with practical considerations tailored for the unique needs and challenges of small businesses.

Todd Gamble is a Verizon Fellow in Security Architecture, Cyber Data Protection. In this role he leads technical enterprise initiatives related to data security architecture and policy. Todd has been with Verizon or its predecessor companies for over 30 years with roles spanning internal network operations, IT systems engineering, policy analysis, privacy, data sovereignty, and customer solution design. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, is a Fellow of Information Privacy in the IAPP, a member of the ACM, and a Senior member of the IEEE.

Alexis Paul, Associate Vice President Cyber Data Protection, is a visionary leader with extensive experience in Data DevOps, Data Protection, Advanced Analytics, and Software Engineering. As Associate Vice President of Cyber Data Protection at Verizon, Alexis leads teams overseeing data management, data protection, and privacy by design. Alexis has a proven track record of transforming data services, leading significant cost savings initiatives, and implementing strategic technology roadmaps aligned with various regulatory frameworks. She has over 20 years of experience across the telecommunications, healthcare, and energy industries.
