Vexilla Konkobo’s passion for business accounting goes all the way back to high school! After graduation, she earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands and a Master's in Accountancy from Bowling Green State University. Afterwards, she spent 5 years at Morgan Stanley and 10 years as an agent at the IRS. In her last few years at the IRS, she participated in the management training program and managed a team of agents. Vexilla decided to start her own business specifically to help small business owners- especially immigrants, women, and people of color. In her experience at the IRS, she found that most people wanted to do the right thing, but they were not properly equipped to run their businesses well. The main culprit was the lack of education and proper representation.
